Museum Opens for the 2026 Season
We're delighted to welcome you back for another exciting season. Come and explore our collections and discover what's new.
Museum 35th Anniversary Event
Launch of the Museum exhibition “More than a Museum”
Celebrating the history of the Mart, the Museum, and showcasing our future plans.
At 11am there will be a parade of pre-1991 vehicles, including one of the few (or possibly only) vintage cattle floats left in Scotland. The vehicles will parade round Alford before returning to the museum paddock for visitors to get a closer look.
Admission for the anniversary event is at the original 1991 entry prices: Adults £1 | Children 60p
AGM and Members Evening
Annual General Meeting followed by a special evening for Friends of the Museum. All members welcome.
Museum Tractor Run
A beloved annual tradition! Watch as vintage tractors parade through the area. Perfect for families and tractor enthusiasts.
Allan Taylor Concert
The Allan Taylor concert is confirmed for Thursday 30th July. Enjoy an evening of live music at the museum.
Model Exhibition
Showcasing intricate models and craftsmanship. A must-see for model enthusiasts and families alike.
Hamewith Concerts
Two evenings of traditional Scottish music and culture. Experience the warmth and spirit of our local heritage through song and story.
Steam & Stationary Engine Event
The museum’s annual Steam and Stationary Engine Event is to be held one week earlier than usual this year, on Sunday 18th October, starting at the slightly earlier time of 11am.
